30.07.11 - Final Cut LIVE @ The Horse and Groom Derby

Review by Karen Atkins Purple-Sage

"Final Cut proved last Saturday that they are not your usual rock covers band. The lead guitarist opened the first set with a 2 minute solo before leading onto the first song. This had us sitting upright in our seats, knowing this was no ordinary rock covers band.

The lead singer can not only hold a good note forever, but he entertains too. Then we were given the honor of hearing one of their own songs........wow breath taking. Songs from Snow patrol and Pink Floyd followed with even more gusto and fantastic solo playing for the lead guitarist. If you have never seen Final Cut before, you are in for a treat.

Excellent."

10.09.11 - Final Cut LIVE @ Spondon Fest Bluebells Farm, Derby

Review by Emma Donald, Event Organiser, Spondon Festival & Spondon Carnival

"Well what can I say..... you were FANTASTIC once again, you never cease to amaze with your heart-felt performances and time and time again succeed to keep your crowd up beat and signing along. Wayne & Simon you were excellent and added the emotion to the music, Sandy (couldn’t see you) BUT boy did we hear you and Big Jim.... perfect vocals once again with notes that I never thought possible to hit!!! Together you are Final Cut and together you rock and will continue to grow and grow, perfecting perfection. It was such an honour to have you guys headline our first ever Spondon Fest and then to come back and do it all over again on Carnival day was tremendous, thank you so much. Well done lads and I can’t wait to see you all again real soon. Keep up the great work and I wish you every success on your journey."
